PORT ST. LUCIE �Who makes the best wings in the area?

4/27/2010 That could be decided on May 8th, when the inaugural WingFest is held at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center.
Southern Eagle Distributing, All In Fun Inc. Party and Event Rents will host WingFest at the Civic Center, 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place in Port St. Lucie.
Partial proceeds will benefit CASTLE for abused children.
So far, 15 area restaurants have signed on to compete in a people’s choice award wing cook-off.
For $15, persons can sign on to be judges, voting for the best wings. Judges will receive two wings per competing restaurant, an event lanyard and voting ballet to submit.
There will also be live music. featuring the 5/4’s and others, throughout the day, children’s play area and assorted craft vendors.
WingFest is free to the public. Gates open at noon on May 8 will continue until 8 p.m., with judging concluding at 6 p.m. The winner will be announced at 7 p.m.
